Since I first arrived in Toronto back in 2014, I would have never thought it becoming one of my favourite cities in the world.
But it kinda burned in.
Yes, the TTC isn’t the pinnacle of public transportation it could be, and yes, it’s arguable that Toronto is a beautiful city, but that doesn’t matter to me.
I genuinely liked it there. And I spent several months there.
But I had the best time in Toronto while I volunteered for TIFF (www.tiff.net).
It was the best time of my life, and I’d definitely do it again.
I met so many nice people, that I pretty much lost count. I got to meet several movie stars (including the one and only Bill Murray), and I got to see some great movies, for free (Volunteers get coupons).
But for now, I’m stuck blogging on Toronto and scheming for my return.
