Three years ago.

Today, three years ago, I was preparing to leave my home for the airport. It was the day my dream would come true. It was the first day of my working holiday in Canada. In the end, it would have been a full 365 days. I wanted to stay longer, but my flight ticket expired on that day, 2 years ago.

I had the best time of my life in Canada. I don’t say that I don’t had great times since then, but nothing comes close.

I still want to go back to the true north. I miss my friends. I miss the people. I just miss this awesome country that truly felt like my home and native land.

Canada truly feels like my home and native land…

The people here are so welcoming and open minded since I arrived last April. I’m going to leave a lot of people and impressions behind me. I improved in so many ways. I’m grateful for my family and friends, I’m happy that I made the decision of coming here a year ago. Canada woke me up…

Never give up. Where there’s a bad day, a good one is on the rise. And it showed me how much food we waste just because we have it. Thank you all so much for keeping me going… you’re awesome.

I will definitely return one day. Maybe for a longer time. Hopefully as soon as possible. Some in my family didn’t believe in me. Some thought I wouldn’t make it. Some doubted I would ever go. I proved them wrong. I proved them wrong big time.
